Garlic-Pepper Shrimps





Shrimp is a great source of protein as it has high protein and it is very low in carbs and fats. It is easy and quick to cook. So let's make some yummy dish using it and enjoy the health benefits too😋

INGREDIENTS
  1. shrimps ( cooked, peeled, deveined, and tail on )
  2. garlic cloves
  3. butter
  4. black pepper
  5. chili flakes
  6. scallions 
  7. lemon
  8. salt

PROCEDURE

Step 1
     Fine chop garlic and scallions. 

Step 2
Melt 1tps of butter in a pan. Add Finely chopped garlic, saute for 1 min. Then add red chili flakes.
Step 3  
Add washed cooked shrimps and cook for another 3 to 4 minutes.

  
Step 4
Add salt and black pepper and mix it well. Then add scallions(green onions). Turn off the heat and add 2tsp of fresh lemon juice. Cover with lid and let it set for 5 min.

Green Energizer

This is a superb tasty way to boost your energy and mood on any given day. I tired various green smoothies but this one is so far my favourite. This nutrition rich power pack green smoothie is very easy and quick to make . You will need very basic ingredients in perfect blend to enjoy yummy healthy treat.



Ingredients

  1. Baby spinach 2 cups
  2. Banana 1/2 
  3. Honey 1/2 Tea spoon
  4. Almonds 8-10
  5. Cold water 4 oz



Procedure

Take all ingredients in blender and add little water to it . Blend it well till you get nice smooth consistency.

   Stir-Fried Tofu & Pepper



Soy is an excellent source of vegetable protein. I think having Tofu is one of the best ways to tap into protein-rich soy. I always try to incorporate Tofu in my daily meals. This recipe is yummy, super easy, quick & healthy.

INGREDIENTS

  1. Extra-firm tofu
  2. soy sauce
  3. sesame oil
  4. garlic cloves
  5. chili flakes
  6. scallions 
  7. bell pepper red, green, and yellow
  8. onion
  9. ketchup
  10. vinegar
  11. honey
  12. cornstarch
  13. chili sauce
  14. sesame seeds






  • There are two steps in this recipe. First to prepare tofu and second to prepare the sauce.
  • PREPARATION

  • Step 1

  • Remove water from tofu and dry it by wrapping in a clean kitchen towel. Then cut tofu in small cubes. Spread some corn starch to coat evenly. 




  •  
  •                  On medium skillet cook the coated tofu in some oil. This will give a nice crunch to tofu.




  • Step 2

  • For sauce take some sesame oil and saute fine chopped garlic, onion and bell peppers. Then add chili flakes, tomato ketchup, and sliced shallots.
  • Let it cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Then add soy sauce, vinegar and half a teaspoon of honey, next add water and bring it to boil.
  • In one bowl mix some water n cornstarch to make a paste, add that cornstarch paste to the above mix. This will give nice consistency to the sauce.

  •   Once the sauce is done add tofu to it and mix well. The sauce should get coated on tofu nice and evenly.

  • Garnish with green onions and sesame seed.

  • Enjoy with white rice, noodles or with zoodles or cauliflower rice(If looking for Low Carb options).

I love my new healthy body so much, I would like to share this hope n information with everyone who wants to have healthier n happier life for themselves.
let me give a little bit of back ground here….as a teen n most of my 20s I was under wt girl .Then during pregnancy n motherhood, I gained lot of wt n couldn’t focus on my health. Eventually I lost my postpartum wt with little care, but to be honest I was still not in healthy lifestyle. Few yr back I got diagnosed with  Hashimoto's thyroiditis, while treating one severe allergic episode. These two things were very much new to me n I didn't had a idea that, it was affecting my whole life.From that time I noticed, I kept gaining wt.I tried losing wt using so many methods.Tried different diets,yoga, exercise ,clean eating n what not.Let me be clear here, I am not against any of above methods. I am just trying to say that it didn’t work for me.Back at the starting of 2019 I was over wt 163 lb, with lot of other health concerns.I starting having very bad knee pain, which  impaired my daily life. I was drained out all day with no energy to cook food or eat. I wasn’t able to enjoy my job,my personal life or my family time.I was so depressed n frustrated that, I was losing purpose of life. That was my hitting bottom n I realised I can’t let this happen. I need to take back my health, in a way my life in my hand n have to take major step.Not unless I restore my health back, I will be able to drive my life. I didn’t want to drag along. I want live my life healthy n happy.
If you strive hard, you are bound to found a way out.I found this way through my friend, who changed her life with this health plan. The only concern I had was, she was not on thyroid medication .I was not sure will this work for my body with Hashimoto. But I took leap of faith n made one of best decision to change my lifestyle.Today after 6 month I look back n feel so proud of my self that how far I came. I am living a healthy n happy life. I lost my 40 lbs of fats and 11 inches from waist .Got the energy n enthusiasm to have better life. I work more, I eat healthier,I am able take better care of myself and my family n my work. All my thyroid test reports are normal after 5 yrs. This so much more than just wt loss. I know,I want this "New me" for a lifetime. I would like to share this new hope n path with whoever lost hope that anything will work for them n struggling to get healthy . Don’t just drag  yourself, thrive! We all can do it, the only thing you need is Awakening, seeing beyond obstacle, not losing hope. There is so much life is offering, reach out. I will be Glad to help anyone on this journey.
