Green Energizer

This is a superb tasty way to boost your energy and mood on any given day. I tired various green smoothies but this one is so far my favourite. This nutrition rich power pack green smoothie is very easy and quick to make . You will need very basic ingredients in perfect blend to enjoy yummy healthy treat.



Ingredients

  1. Baby spinach 2 cups
  2. Banana 1/2 
  3. Honey 1/2 Tea spoon
  4. Almonds 8-10
  5. Cold water 4 oz



Procedure

Take all ingredients in blender and add little water to it . Blend it well till you get nice smooth consistency.

   Stir-Fried Tofu & Pepper



Soy is an excellent source of vegetable protein. I think having Tofu is one of the best ways to tap into protein-rich soy. I always try to incorporate Tofu in my daily meals. This recipe is yummy, super easy, quick & healthy.

INGREDIENTS

  1. Extra-firm tofu
  2. soy sauce
  3. sesame oil
  4. garlic cloves
  5. chili flakes
  6. scallions 
  7. bell pepper red, green, and yellow
  8. onion
  9. ketchup
  10. vinegar
  11. honey
  12. cornstarch
  13. chili sauce
  14. sesame seeds






  • There are two steps in this recipe. First to prepare tofu and second to prepare the sauce.
  • PREPARATION

  • Step 1

  • Remove water from tofu and dry it by wrapping in a clean kitchen towel. Then cut tofu in small cubes. Spread some corn starch to coat evenly. 




  •  
  •                  On medium skillet cook the coated tofu in some oil. This will give a nice crunch to tofu.




  • Step 2

  • For sauce take some sesame oil and saute fine chopped garlic, onion and bell peppers. Then add chili flakes, tomato ketchup, and sliced shallots.
  • Let it cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Then add soy sauce, vinegar and half a teaspoon of honey, next add water and bring it to boil.
  • In one bowl mix some water n cornstarch to make a paste, add that cornstarch paste to the above mix. This will give nice consistency to the sauce.

  •   Once the sauce is done add tofu to it and mix well. The sauce should get coated on tofu nice and evenly.

  • Garnish with green onions and sesame seed.

  • Enjoy with white rice, noodles or with zoodles or cauliflower rice(If looking for Low Carb options).
  • This healthy recipe is complaint to many high protein -low carb diet plans like keto, whole30 or optavia.
